The Grenoble Pilot Plant
We are no longer at the concept stage. MagREEsource now operates an industrial pilot line at the heart of Grenoble’s technology ecosystem.
- Current capacity: Controlled production enabling us to supply prototypes and pre-series to our strategic partners.
- Technological validation: Our patented hydrogen decomposition (HD) process is stabilised and guarantees industrial-grade purity.
- Ecosystem: Strong ties with the CNRS and the Institut Néel, ensuring a transfer of expertise that is unique in the world.
A futur factory
To meet the surge in demand across Europe, MagREEsource is stepping up a gear. Our future large-scale production facility is designed to become the global benchmark for circular magnets.
- Production target: To achieve an annual production capacity of 1,000 tonnes of magnets, meeting a significant proportion of the needs of the European automotive and wind power industries.
- Environmental impact: A low-impact plant, designed to minimise water and energy consumption, with no discharge of polluting chemicals.
- Sovereignty: Relocate the production of critical components to France to reduce dependence on imports by more than 80%.
- Value creation: Over 100 skilled industrial jobs created to support this new centre of excellence.
